How big is a bar of soap?
You will be surprised at the size of a bar for the price. Each bar measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/2" x 1" and weigh approximately 5 3/4 - 6 + oz. (sometimes a little more!) We have sliced thousands of bars of soap and we try very hard to be consistant with the size.
What is glycerin?
Glycerin is a humectant. It attracts moisture to your skin, keeping it soft and supple. Glycerin is a natural by-product of the process of saponification (soap making). Different from the common soaps that you purchase at the store in that the glycerin has been removed and sold off for other manufacturing purposes.
What is shea butter?
Shea butter is produced from the nut of the Karite Tree found in Africa. It is known for it's anti-aging properties, for the softening and moisturizing of dry skin.
Why goat milk?
Goat milk is high in vitamins, minerals and proteins. While rich with natural properties for softening your skin, goat milk is known to alleviate eczema and acne as well.
How do I take care of my handmade glycerin soap?
Our handmade soap is best kept out of water when not in use, to make sure it will last as long as possible. Using our handmade soap deck is the perfect way to ensure your soap will stay "high and dry". Our soap deck is designed to let all of the water drain away from the soap bar and not let your bar sit in a soapy puddle.
Is that candy in the soap?
NO it is not candy, it is all soap. We've had comments that the bright colors in our soap look like gummy candies and smells good enough to eat. They do not taste as good as they smell, we promise!!
